Rudy’s guide to being there @ MWC

February 4, 2011

THE places you’ve go to seen in Barcelona
by Hans Cett

There’s a fantastic blog from Rudy de Waele of M-trends here. Basically it’s a list of the hip events to attend @ MWC 2001. It’s a case of be there or be square. Obviously some of the events have already been highlighted on the pages of this esteemed blog. One of those events is the GoMo News Blender which Rudy rates just like us. However, he also points out that GoMo News co-founder, Bena Roberts, is also moderating the Mobile Premier Awards ceremony this year @ MWC.

According to Rudy, the first event you need to be seen at is MobileSunday and you can guess which day that is being held on.

Given the popularity of our free ticket competition [now closed] which was sponsored by RIM, we’d have to agree with Rudy that the AppCircus Spotlight on Blackberry Apps is an event not to be missed.

And if you’d like to get you BlackBerry app showcased you’d better hurry because AppCircus is closed for new entries after midnight tonight [February 4th]. More details here.

Of course, Countdown2MWC reckons like Rudy that another unmissable event is this year’s Android party which is on the Wednesday (16th). You’ll have to do some juggling though because Swedish beers is on that night, too.

If you’re event isn’t included on the M-trends blog you’d better get onto Rudy PDQ by emailing him here.
