The CRN Sales and Marketing Awards are around the corner, with entries closing 22nd March (5pm GMT) and a shortlist announced 15th April.

This black tie awards evening will take place on 19th June at Lancaster London, promising to be a night of celebration for all involved. These awards will bring together sales and marketing professionals, acknowledging the roles of resellers, distributors and vendors.

Network Computing Awards 2013 Now Accepting Nominations

It’s time to make your nominations for the UK’s Network Computing Awards, which recognise “the solutions and the companies that have been most impressive in helping organisations function better through getting the most out of their networks.” Nominations will close on January 7th, so click here to make your nominations now. If you’re chosen as a finalist, you will be invited to attend the awards ceremony on March 14th at the Hotel Russell in London’s Russell Square. As TechCrunch explains in the official rules for The Crunchies, “No companies are restricted from consideration.  Certain awards have specified criteria (i.e. best unfunded startup or best new startup launched in 2012) but, otherwise, all companies and products are eligible for consideration based on their business accomplishments made during calendar 2012.  Companies may be nominated for multiple award categories, and companies may win multiple awards.  There are no fees to nominate companies for consideration.”

Calling All Resellers: CRN Channel Awards 2012 Open for Entries

The 19th annual CRN Channel Awards have opened for entries. These competitive awards, open to resellers, distributors and vendors trading in the UK, “recognize excellence in the delivery of solutions, service and support to end user customers.” The awards focus on teams that have met customer goals in terms of improved efficiency, return on investment, and cost reduction. Entries must be relevant to the UK market.

There guidelines for entering, available here, indicate that it is helpful to keep your entry concise and include plenty of facts and figures, testimonials, and substance to back up your claims.

The deadline is Friday July 20th at 5pm. Enter here.

New IT Award: TechWeekEurope UK Launches Tech Success Awards to celebrate British Tech Projects

There’s a new award for successful end-user projects in the UK. The Tech Success Awards, recently launched by IT publication TechWeekEurope UK (formerly eWEEK Europe UK), will celebrate successful IT projects in British organizations.

The judging panel includes two judges we’ve interviewed on the Countdown blogs: Clive Longbottom, Founder of Quocirca, and Peter Judge, editor of TechWeekEurope UK.

In a post on the TechWeekEurope website, Judge said the awards would supplement TechWeekEurope’s journalistic coverage of IT projects. He wrote:
